ALAN WEBBER
- Producer Rural Route Film Festival - NY, NY
Alan Webber was born and raised in Elkader, Iowa, 20 mi. west of the
Mississippi River and the historic Wisconsin pioneer village of Prarie du Chien.
He has been making films and videos since age 16, and obtained his M.A. in Media Studies
from the New School for Social Research while apprenticing under director Hal Hartley. Alan's
writer/director /editor credits include: Adventures of the Brooklyn Hipster Superhero, Day is Done, and
Hawkeye Fever. He has recently shot music videos for rock bands Japanther, Federation-X, and has
completed a feature-length script about teenage angst in rural Iowa. His latest short film, Dear,
Deer features Bright Eyes' "Make a Plan to Love Me". Alan is the director and originator of the
Rural Route Film Festival that takes place in New York.

TIM GUTHRIE
- Associate Professor, Graphic Design & Visual Communcations Track, Creighton University
Tim Guthrie has recently been awarded Independent Artist Fellowships in 2007 as well as 2006
(Distinguished Artist) fromthe Nebraska Arts Council for both his traditional art and his experimental
animation work. He has three films in this year's Midwest
Theater Film Festival. His work has been shown in many places, including the Hiroshima Animation Festival,
5th Annual Athens International Animation Festival, aniMOweb and the Control Arms Conference, and the Hi/Lo Film Fest.
His more traditional work has been shown at the Bellevue Art Museum, Boise Art Museum, St.George Museum of Art,
Holter Museum of Art, Nevada Art Museum, and the Paris Gibson Square Museum of Art where he also received two purchase
awards for their permanent collection. He has also exhibited regionally at the Sheldon Art Gallery in Lincoln, the Bemis
Underground, and numerous other smaller venues.
